For over a century, Nicholls Interiors has been a cornerstone of Melbourne’s home furnishings industry. In 2025, our Bayside family business proudly celebrated 105 years of operation, and four generations who have dedicated themselves to the business.
From our Brighton showroom, we offer a fully coordinated interiors service consisting of a large range of quality custom made products including blinds, curtains, shutters, awnings, bedheads, bedspreads, cushions, bedding and wallpaper.

Our History
Founded in 1920 by Bert and Hilda Nicholls as a humble drapery store, Nicholls Interiors has evolved significantly over the years. Through economic shifts, industry advancements, and changing design trends, the business has remained steadfast in its commitment to quality products and great service. Today, it is recognised as one of bayside Melbourne’s premier destinations for custom window furnishings and interior styling.
A century in operation is no small feat (let alone for a family business!) and reaching 105 years is a testament to the trust and loyalty of our customers.
