But put it this way – a Bachelors’s degree in Economics, trained at Melbourne College of Textiles, and being born and raised in an entrepreneurial family has him more than qualified to lead and inspire the team here at Nicholls.
One of the greatest benefits of working in a business with so much history is the people. Over 100 years Nicholls Interiors have built a fantastic rapport with the Community, which makes working with customers and their future generations somewhat special.
Mary came to Nicholls with 15 years of industry experience running a busy curtain workroom and sales showroom.
Like many of the team here at Nicholls, Mary has a passion and flair for interior design and is often to go-to person that our staff call on for that second opinion on fabric cut or print design.
Micheal’s aim is to help customers create and decorate their homes so that every time they arrive home, they get that little buzz of pride from just how styled their decor looks. Creating looks that are timeless, practical, and a joy to live in.
With 35 years in the curtain and blind industry, Michael has plenty of experience styling and workshopping unique looks and assisting customers to get just the right interiors feel clients are after. Micheal relishing in creating that WOW factor for customers.
Micheal enjoys working with Nicholls family-oriented business but can boast broad industry experience from sales management and national product & training manager.

Kristen has been working in the window furnishings industry since 2008. Before joining the crew at Nicholls Kristen worked with interior styling heavyweights including David Jones, Laura Ashley and Marco Fabrics. Kristen has a creative eye and you’ll often find her deep in fabric swatch books looking over the latest fabric designs and planning decorating combinations and suggestions for her client’s window coverings and soft furnishing projects.
It is a joy and pleasure to come into the lovely environment at Nicholls and to work alongside the owners and staff.
Eliza joined the Nicholls team in late 2016 and is in charge of our installs diary, customer service calls and repairs. If you’ve received a free measure and quote then its likely Eliza had a hand in making it happen. We measure and quote every day of the week so you can imagine just how busy (and essential) Eliza’s job is.
Before joining Nicholls Eliza had a long career in the exhibition industry, we think that is why she so great at managing all the shop schedules so efficiently.
Eliza enjoys her role not only because of the wonderful and professional staff she gets to work with each day but her pivotal instore role also allows her to also assist customers to update their spaces with beautiful products.
I really enjoy meeting our customers in the showroom and having a chat about different products or fabrics that would suit them. I just love beautiful fabrics!
